Stop 1 – Jvari Monastery
Our first destination is the magnificent Jvari Monastery, one of Georgia's most important religious monuments.
Standing high above the ancient capital of Mtskheta, this sixth-century monastery offers one of the country's most spectacular panoramic views. Below, you'll witness the meeting point of the Aragvi and Mtkvari Rivers, a landscape that has inspired poets, artists, and pilgrims for centuries.
Take a peaceful walk around the monastery, admire its elegant stone architecture, and discover why Jvari became one of Georgia's very first UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The silence, the scenery, and the spiritual atmosphere make this a truly unforgettable beginning to the day.

Stop 2 – Uplistsikhe Cave City
Next, we travel west to one of Georgia's most extraordinary archaeological treasures—Uplistsikhe.
Long before medieval castles and churches appeared across the country, this remarkable city was carved directly into the sandstone cliffs. Dating back over 3,000 years, Uplistsikhe once served as an important political, cultural, and religious center along the ancient Silk Road. Walk through narrow tunnels... Explore ancient halls, temples, wine cellars, pharmacies, and living quarters... Imagine what life looked like here thousands of years ago, when traders, priests, and kings walked these very streets. Your guide will explain how this incredible city survived changing civilizations, pagan traditions, and the arrival of Christianity. his is one of the most unique places you will visit anywhere in Georgia.
Please note: Entrance fee is not included.

Stop 3 – Gori
Our journey continues to the city of Gori, best known as the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Here we'll visit the Stalin Museum, where you'll gain insight into the life of one of the twentieth century's most influential—and controversial—leaders. The museum houses personal belongings, historical documents, photographs, and Stalin's famous armored railway carriage, specially built for his travels throughout the Soviet Union.
Whether you're interested in history or simply curious to learn more about this important period, the museum offers a fascinating perspective on Georgia's Soviet past.

Stop 4 – Mtskheta & Svetitskhoveli Cathedral . Our final destination is Mtskheta, Georgia's ancient capital and spiritual heart. For more than two thousand years, this beautiful town has been one of the country's most sacred places. Here you'll visit the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the greatest masterpieces of Georgian architecture and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to tradition, the cathedral is built over the burial place of Christ's robe, making it one of the holiest sites in the Georgian Orthodox Church. Walk through its peaceful courtyard, admire centuries-old stone carvings and magnificent frescoes, and experience the unique atmosphere that continues to attract pilgrims from around the world. Before leaving Mtskheta, you'll have time to stroll through the charming old streets, browse local souvenir shops, or enjoy a coffee while taking in the historic surroundings.

The Journey Back
As we return to Tbilisi, you'll have time to reflect on a day that has taken you through thousands of years of Georgian history—from ancient cave civilizations to medieval kingdoms and modern history. You'll return not only with beautiful photographs, but with a deeper understanding of Georgia's culture, traditions, and remarkable heritage.
