Stop 1 – Bodbe Monastery.
Our first stop is the peaceful Bodbe Monastery, one of Georgia’s most important spiritual sites. Set on a hillside overlooking the Alazani Valley, the monastery is the final resting place of St. Nino, the woman credited with bringing Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. Take a gentle walk through the beautifully maintained gardens, admire the elegant church architecture, and enjoy breathtaking views stretching across the vineyards toward the Caucasus Mountains. The atmosphere here is calm, reflective, and deeply connected to Georgia’s spiritual heritage.
Stop 2 – Signagi, the City of Love.
Next, we arrive in Signagi, one of the most charming towns in the country. Known as the “City of Love”, Signagi sits high above the Alazani Valley and is surrounded by ancient defensive walls that once protected the region. Stroll along cobbled streets lined with colorful houses and carved wooden balconies… Enjoy panoramic views of vineyards stretching toward the snow-capped Caucasus… Browse local craft shops, visit a small museum if you wish, or simply relax with a coffee while soaking in the atmosphere. Many visitors say Signagi feels like a hidden corner of Tuscany mixed with traditional Georgian charm.
Stop 3 – Khareba Winery
Now it’s time to experience one of the highlights of Kakheti — Khareba Winery. This unique winery is famous for its extraordinary underground tunnel system carved directly into the mountain. Stretching for several kilometers, the tunnels maintain a naturally cool temperature ideal for aging wine. Here you can choose to: - Take an optional guided tour through the wine tunnels. - Learn about traditional qvevri winemaking, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.- Enjoy an optional wine tasting featuring premium Kakhetian wines. - Relax in the beautiful winery gardens and explore the wine shop. Whether you are a wine enthusiast or simply curious about Georgian culture, Khareba offers a fascinating insight into a tradition that dates back thousands of years.

The Journey Back = As the afternoon light turns the vineyards golden, we begin our return to Tbilisi. Relax in your private vehicle, look through your photos, and reflect on a day filled with stunning landscapes, ancient traditions, and authentic Georgian hospitality. You’ll return with far more than souvenirs — you’ll take home the flavors, stories, and memories of Georgia’s legendary wine region.
